The role of the Talent Acquisition Specialist is to partner with hiring managers to fill open positions using best practice. This position will be responsible for full lifecycle recruiting of exempt and non-exempt clinical and non-clinical positions. Participate in recruitment projects and process improvement initiatives. Additionally, this position will assist in ensuring a smooth on-boarding process for candidates and new hires. This position is expected to maintain and promote a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.


This is primarily a remote opportunity; however, the selected candidate must reside near the Twin Cities (Minnesota) area and work onsite as needed for the position, along with attend local events with the talent acquisition team.


Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary range for this opportunity is $60,507/annually to $90,771/annually, with a median salary of $75,639/annually. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience and internal equity. Salary is just one component of the compensation package for employees. Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the full cycle recruiting for assigned positions. This includes posting open positions, sourcing candidates, screening candidates to evaluate their qualifications, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, extend & negotiate offers, and collaborating with hiring managers on the recruitment process.
  • Using a variety of methods (including internet data mining, cold calling, online databases, social media, internal database, employee referrals, and career fairs) to source candidates that meet the target profile, using screening techniques to reduce the candidate pool.
  • Builds and maintains a candidate pipeline for future needs
  • Collaborate with other functional groups, including HR Strategic Services, Legal, and Compensation as needed.
  • Ensure compliance to Gillette hiring standards, policies and other legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent Gillette at job fairs and campus recruiting events as a tactic to obtain a strong pipeline of candidates and to effectively meet hiring needs.
  • Demonstrate efforts to support organization goals and EEOC/AA plans for meeting the hiring and retention goals of diverse candidates.
  • Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to source, track, and manage candidate applications, ensuring a seamless and organized talent acquisition workflow. Adhere to system compliance standards
  • Provide back-up support for the on-boarding process.
  • Student Programs & Community Relations:
  • Provide direction and collaborate with leaders regarding their needs & interests in internship opportunities within their department.
  • Assist with developing coordinated internship programs.
  • Coordinates and tracks student intern process.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of 3 years of full life cycle recruitment experience
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system.
  • Demonstrated experience performing internet research and talent sourcing activities, including social media sourcing and the development and refinement of Boolean search strings
  • Familiarity with student programs and campus recruitment tactics
  • Knowledge of diversity recruitment strategies



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Time management skills and the ability to manage and coordinate multiple recruitment activities simultaneously
  • Strong negotiation, customer service and Influence Management skills
  • Knowledge of and experience using staffing tools such as applicant tracking software, HRIS systems, electronic job boards, social media and candidate sourcing applications.
  • Knowledge of employment laws related to recruitment
  • Experience in building and sustaining relationships
  • Ability to consult with hiring leaders to ensure hiring high quality candidates.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume workload across several functions
  • Demonstrated initiative



Preferred

  • Previous recruitment experience in a healthcare organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
